In today's fiery Tuesday post, we concentrate our attention on issues of interest to Pagan activists: Mother Jones takes a cheap shot; John Halstead offers an opinion on Indiana's new "religious freedom" law; is doing spellwork for money ethical?; women's power connected to witchcraft; consent culture and Pagan festivals.
Oh dear, Mother Jones -- really? This cheap shot (on an interesting subject that deserves better treatment) against religious minorities is both stupid and a low blow. Shame, Mother Jones, shame on you.
Fiery Tuesday is here and the PaganNewsBeagle is back. Labor Day Blues (most Americans are too overworked to take time off); town of Greece is pretty clear which God they want civic prayers to address; the legend of Horatio Alger, the plight of the Yazidis, and Pagan consent culture.
Did you take Labor Day (U.S. holiday) off? If so, congratulations. This story at the HuffPo points out a troubling trend: an increasing number of us are too overworked, stressed-out, and downright scared of losing their job to take vacation time.
It's Fiery Tuesday and we've got five hot news stories for you: political parties & religious identity; sexuality & Pagan consent culture; sex magick, and Pagan civil rights.
Religious identity and political party *do* track together: find out who hangs out together in this Gallup news report.
