Happy tiding and many blessings!
Our Samhain/Halloween post went over great last October so we though we'd try a repeat performance by gathering all of our posts for Yule and the Winter Solstice from over the last month or so. As before, we've also included some extra bits from around the web that we thought you might find interesting.
We hope you have a very merry Yule and a happy New Year's! Cheers!
Merry meet, fellow Witches and Pagans!
As you might imagine we've had a ton of content here on PaganSquare over the last month about Halloween—or Samhain as most of us prefer to call it ;)—as well the cycle of life and death, the gods of death, and dealing with our ancestors. Given how much of it there is, we figured it might be a hassle to try and locate it all so we've gathered all of it (plus a little extra stuff we found scouring the web) and bunched them into a collection of links here for you to browse at your leisure.
Hey, friends and fellow Pagans.
So some of you may have noticed that we've been experiencing a number of technical glitches, errors, and other problems for the last two weeks. This came about as a result of a major update our site's host went through, which caused a lot of our code to no longer work as it had previously. After much wrangling, bugtesting, and other hard work, we're happy to report that these issues are no longer a problem.
Some of the issues you may have experienced include (but are not limited to) the following:
There is one drawback to these fixes, however. Due to the changes we made to our site's code any links posted to Facebook, Tumblr, Twitter, etc. before today will no longer work. We wish this wasn't the case but it does appear to be an unfortunate side effect. Nonetheless, I think we can all agree that the current situation is much better than that of the last couple of weeks, especially since the link problem is only an issue for old links - links made from this day forth will not suffer from the same problem.
Please let us know if any other issues are bothering you so we can get right on it.]]>
That's right, as of 3:17 p.m. today (Pacific Standard Time) we have joined the Tumblr community.]]>
Aryós Héngwis here. Some of you may or may not have run into me as our site's local moderator, who occasionally weighs in on discussions going on in the comment sections of our blogs. If you haven't, let me be the first to introduce myself. I'm Aryós Héngwis, PaganSquare's community moderator and BBI Media's online media coordinator. My job, essentially, is to make sure all of our blogs are running properly, to coordinate our various social media, and to make sure discussions don't get out of hand (something I'm happy to say happens only very rarely).
Anyhow, we're going to be trying something different here at PaganSquare from here on out. While I'll still mostly stick to sidelines for the most part, weighing in only when I feel things are getting hairy, I'll also be managing this blog to provide you - our readers - with updates about PaganSquare or our other related services. Whenever we're updating the site, adding a new service, or highlighting something else we think is of importance to the PaganSquare community, this will be the place you'll hear about it first. Additionally, if you have any questions about said updates, this will be the place to ask them (either that or emailing me at email@example.com).
With that said and done, I look forward to working with you all in the near future. Let me know if you have any questions or concerns in the comments section below.]]>
