78 Magickal Tools: Bringing the Magick of Tarot to your Pagan Path
Tarot is more than a tool of divination; tarot is a book of spiritual wisdom and a set of magickal tools. Explore new ways to use tarot in ritual, magick, meditation, self-discovery and attunement.
Tarot Magick for the World
This time of year, I always lead my tarot groups in tarot magick gift giving exercises. If you are part of a tarot group, this is an easy and fun seasonal exercise.
Simply ask each person to silently pick another group member to whom they would like to give a gift. Then have them look through their tarot decks and find a card that represents the energy they want to manifest for this person.
For instance, if you know a person in the group is looking for a new home, you might give them the Ten of Pentacles. If you know someone is hoping for a new romance, you might choose the Two of Cups.
Once everyone has a gift chosen for someone, go around the room and have each person “give their gift.” By stating their intention, and by connecting that intention with a tarot image, your group will be performing quick and effective tarot magick.
That’s a great gift, and much more fun than Secret Santa!
This year, I thought it would be interesting to do the same exercise, on a much larger scale.
What if we all did some holiday tarot magick for the planet?
Which tarot energy do you want to manifest for the world right now?
Choose a card that feels right, not at random but with conscious intention.
Take a moment to breathe and center, and send the energy of that card to the world.
Together, we can use the power of tarot to bring something wonderful to our planet.
The card I chose is the High Priestess.
This holiday season, I bring the energy of the High Priestess to our planet. May the High Priestess bring peace, balance, and truthful introspection to our planet and all her inhabitants.
What card will you give the world as a holiday gift?

Love this!
But...I have to give two. The six of pents and the seven of pents.
Give people the resources (there are enough to go round) to help themselves. enough to get started, then they put in their own work to cultivate.
I prefer to give to charities that specialize in this. I believe that people want an opportunity to take care of themselves and their families and communities. Not just a hand out.
