Let me take you on a journey through the wilds of nature and back to the roots and bones of witchcraft, a natural witchcraft that works with the seasons and all the natural items that Mother Nature provides drawing on magical folk lore with a dash of hedge witch and gypsy magic too.

Cord spell to let go

Cord spell to let go

This spell helps to release and let go of grief, anger or guilt or any of those other nasty negative ninny feelings that sometimes engulf us.

You will need:

A piece of cord, thread or string

A knife or scissors

Tie a knot in one end of the cord – this represents you in the here and now complete with your grief, guilt or anger.

Hold the knot in your left hand and say:

This is me in the here and now

Full of anger/grief/guilt/insert bad feeling here and how

Take the other end with the knot in your right hand and say:

This is me as I want to be

Guilt, pain and anger free

Put the cord down in front of you and cut the cord in half.

Now pick up the cord on the left and untie the know saying:

Grief, pan and anger released

Bury this piece of cord or burn it.

Pick up the other end and keep the knot intact, place it on your altar or in a safe place as a reminder.  When you feel all the negative emotions have been released you can dispose of this piece.

Rachel is a witch...has been for a very long time, not the green skinned warty kind obviously...the real sort - but she is also a working wife and mother living in Hampshire, England who has also been lucky enough to write and have published a growing stack of books on the Craft. She loves to learn she loves to study and continues to do so each and every day but has learned the most from actually getting outside and doing it. She regularly gives talks and workshops at pagan events. Rachel is also founder and an Elder at the Kitchen Witch online school of witchcraft. She likes to laugh...and eat cake...
