Danu's Cauldron: Wisewoman's Ways, and Wild Fey Magic

Living in a sacred landscape, walking between the worlds in the veil of Avalon Glastonbury. Where the old gods roam the hills, and the sidhe dance beneath the moon...wander into the mists with me and let us see what we may find...

Samhain Blessings

A Blessing to you an and all your line this Samhain / Calan Gaeaf...

At this time of year in British folklore, the wild hunt ride...a host of faeries and wild spirits scour the land, seeking out the wandering dead that they may find their way to the underworld, Annwn, and rest in the great womb of the goddess, the cauldron of transformation...

Sometimes the leader of the wild hunt is said to be Odin, or Woden, at other times Herne the Hunter, or here in Glastonbury and west into Wales the hunt is lead by my personal god, Gwyn ap Nudd, the shining one, guardian of Annwn, guardian of the goddess...

This Samhain, may we surrender with grace, with the honesty of the heart, all that has passed, to be transformed in the cauldron of the goddess, so that they may be reborn and transformed in the distant spring...

a blessing upon on that have passed this year, a blessing upon all of our sorrows, a blessing upon all of our hopes this year, a blessing upon all of our dreams!
