The Medicine Wheel of Life—The Practice

The medicine wheel, the traditional Dreamwalker wheel that my teacher, Silver Eagle, taught me, has been added to with later knowledge of traditional Inca and Celtic wheels including the Archangelic Realm. Silver Eagle has departed for other hunting and beading grounds in higher dimensions, he has left his body, and although I treasured his teachings, I felt attracted to other wheel teachings of other cultures as well; so I combined them. You could do the same; create your very own wheel variation.

I love the medicine wheel and know that many cultures utilize a wheel for spiritual, mental, physical and emotional healing; besides gaining introspection or insight. It’s profound for this. The different directions and animal totems of the Medicine Wheel, with their wisdom, have gifts for us. They inter-relate with one another. They support one another on our marvellous inner and outer healing journeys and we can pay attention to where we are in any moment, when we tune inward to observe.

The Ceremonial Medicine Wheel

It was while I lived in Jerusalem, Israel, in the winter of 1992, and previous to becoming a metaphysician and fire priestess, that I began a surprising although insightful journey. Having spent days curled up on my couch glued to a Mary Summer Rain book titled, Dreamwalker, a book I found in Tel Aviv, I was hooked. I could not put that book down, it held me spellbound. Having noted the name Silver Eagle, Dreamwalker, a bell went off in my psyche. When I read that one could support this Tennessee US Native Dreamwalker by purchasing his hand made earrings consisting of beads, wood and or feathers, I determined to write to him. Dreamwalkers are individuals who can use dreams to visit people, or teleport themselves and read ones energy vibration, offering help and assistance.

West Kootenay Vortex continued:

After fall fair time on the West Kootenay vortex, Brier Bear, my local aged bear, (who I have mega stories about but will not include them here) had also employed both front paws and pulled up the canopy window of my friends Ford pickup truck. Brier Bear was in search of those marvelous Passmore Fair pies made by the local Doukhobor women no doubt, that the truck had recently carried. When we asked him to quit, we received sideways glances as if, “Everything under control here, just looking for the food you left for me.”

Kleinburg, Ontario & the Kootenay Vortex, British Columbia

Where and when would The Traveler, me, finally find home?

A day in mid March of 2013 found me up at dawn surrounded by lightly falling snow and walking round my Kleinburg, Ontario, medicine wheel. It was not cold, just below freezing, there was no wind. The medicine wheel had been created behind an extensive garden where a fence could be seen and in the distance a few old elm trees still stood. Looking out to the east was an expanse of fields where grain had been harvested and here and there tufts of wheat stalk stood peeking out of the snow that had blanketed the land for three months now. I loved the bleakness and the gently rolling hills lay of the land. The land felt older than time, settled centuries ago, open, free, and in these moments I could see that my higher self was connected to a vast vista of pregnant reality in which there was a purpose to all that I selected to experience. I recognized that I was on assignment throughout my days. Feeling ready to transcend boundaries, my commitment to evolve stared me in the face.

Journey to the Center of the Universe

It is the second moon of the year, 2017, the Budding Trees Moon, guided by red tail hawk and rose quartz crystal and I decide to journey to a special plateau that I had already discovered in 1996. In January of that year I happened upon a friends resort on the northern end of the Bonaparte Plateau, BC and now in 2017 I’m heading to the southern edge of this plateau. It was a cold January morning when I bundled up in my fox fur in 1996 and went out to a frozen over Fawn Lake with one of my spiritual retreat friends. As I called in the four directions, a sound came bounding over the plateau. The sound was a long drawn out Ooooommm. As I stood in awe I felt the vibration flowing over and through me. I excitedly turned to my friend and said, “Did you hear that?”

“Hear what?” She said. I had clairaudiently heard the OM, the Sound of Creation.

Jerusalem Angels and Winter Solstice

Jerusalem, Israel was beginning to feel like home by mid December, and I looked forward to celebrating the Winter Solstice in what felt to me like one of the most significant and powerful portals on planet Earth. Leaning to the east, my three, in the front of my condo Aleppo pines, were swaying in a warm breeze and it was another day with temperatures around 15 Celsius and filled with sunshine. I had been listening to Radio Jordan as I usually did every morning at 9 a.m. while decorating our huge indoor palm tree with twinkling lights and copper angels for our Winter Solstice celebration. With a delightful gusto the radio personality would tell us what the king was doing every morning. King Hussein, who was married to an American architect, Queen Noir, was the Jordanian king then. The announcer told us that this day the king was flying to England on vacation with his family. He would be the chief pilot for this flite and I thought I sensed the flying king was excited to be flying, and heading to a home that he had recently purchased in the English countryside just outside of London.

It was on a Friday late morning, the 18th of December that I received a phone call that initially threw me for a loop. The caller had heard that I was a Reiki Master and that I was in touch with the metaphysical. She had urgently to meet up with me and talk to me about something she had seen, and would I meet her at the King David Hotel on King David Street in the center of Jerusalem? I always loved going to downtown Jerusalem, a metropolitan city where one could see the Old City and Mount Zion from the King David. Perhaps I would stop in at UNTSO headquarters and have a chat with my husband who worked there for the UN.
