Middle Earth Magic: Inspired Ideas and Seasonal Spells for Your Enchanted Life
I grew up on a farm in West Virginia and learned much about herbs, trees, animals, gardening, foraging and so much about nature. I incorporate this wisdom I learned from elders in my family into my spellwork. When I finally left the farm, I majored in Medieval Studies, my attempt to emulate my idol, J.R.R. Tolkien. All these influences led me to my own blended brew which I call "middle earth magic," containing a mix of the modern and the time-tested "old ways."
Prelude to a Kiss: Romance Rituals
This section of spell work relates to the arts of love, starting with the first kiss. Make that kiss unforgettable! Tattoo your touch onto your lover’s skin! Leave more than an impression, and most important, merge into a oneness that is truest enchantment. From time immemorial, witches have enchanted everyone with their magical beauty. That’s because we know how to supplement Mother Nature’s gifts. Before a special evening, I usually employ a “glamour gloss” of my own design so that each kiss is a passion spark. You will need the following:
- Lip gloss
- Oil of clove
Take your favorite pot of lip gloss; to it add one drop of oil of clove and stir counterclockwise, saying aloud three times:
The ripest fruit, the perfect petal,
my lips are as the honey in the flower.
Each kiss a spell of utmost bliss.
So mote it be.
This will make your lips tingle and give your kisses “spice.” The lucky recipient of your kisses will be spellbound.
Kama Sutra Kiss
The kiss is the gateway to bliss and amorous experience. The kiss provokes erotic ardor, excites the heart, and is an incitement to the natural gift of yourself that you share with your beloved. After you have performed the Anointed Lips spell, think of your kiss as an offering of enchantment. The following is a list of actual Kama Sutra kisses:
- Bent kiss: the classic movie-style kiss where lovers lean into each other
- Throbbing kiss: the woman touches her lover’s mouth with her lower lip
- Touching kiss: the woman touches her lover’s lips with her tongue and eyes and places her hands on her lover’s hands
- Turned kiss: one kisser turns up the face of the other by holding the head and chin and then kissing
- Pressed kiss: from below or underneath, one lover presses the lower lip of the other lover, who is above, with both lips
- Greatly pressed kiss: taking the lip between two fingers, touching the lip with the tongue, then applying great pressure with the lips upon the lover’s lips in the kiss.
