Rain on Down: A Prayer for Rain

 Some Showers Overnight

Rain on Down

A Prayer for Rain

Mighty Thunder, Lord of Lightning

Rain on down

Fecundator, Ejaculator

Rain on down

Sky Water, Sky Fire

Rain on down

Bull of Heaven

Rain on down

Meat smoke, incense smoke

Rain on down

Good, smoky whiskey

Rain on down

Green pastures, green fields

Rain on down

Good fat cattle

Rain on down

Milk in freshets

Rain on down

Life flowing

Rain on down

Bull of Heaven

Rain on down

Sky Fire, Sky Water

Rain on down

Ejaculator, Fecundator

Rain on down

Lord of Lightning, Mighty Thunder

Rain on down

Poet, scholar and storyteller Steven Posch was raised in the hardwood forests of western Pennsylvania by white-tailed deer. (That's the story, anyway.) He emigrated to Paganistan in 1979 and by sheer dint of personality has become one of Lake Country's foremost men-in-black. He is current keeper of the Minnesota Ooser.
