Hail to the Promise of the First Fire,
The Fire in the Sky:
The Fire that burned at the beginning of time,
It is the Fire that reflects in the eyes of the Gods.
Hail to the Promise of the Deep Fire,
The fire that burns at the center of the Earth:
It warms the Ancestors in their Underworld home,
It is the Fire that burns at the core of the Earth Mother.
Hail to the Promise of the Home Fire,
The fire in the Hearth:
As long as there is wood to burn, and people to pray,
It is the Fire that burns at the center of our Way.
