Blessed Thistle, a Covid-19 Ally

It's March 11, 2018. I'm preparing to teach a Find Your Soul Purpose workshop at my local fire hall that's been converted to a meeting hall. It is an all day Women's Wellness event. The room is packed to the brim with women from ages 19 to 80. The class I am teaching comes up at the days end, so I attend a few of the workshops presented that sound appealing to me. During a class I literally bump into an elderly woman who recognizes me. She tells me she is the one who has registered online for a Reiki First Degree class that's coming up in a few days. We have a great big bear hug. I'm pleased to meet her and looking forward to doing what I love, activating folks with Reiki!

Three days later four women show up for my class, including the elderly lady who I hugged. Only today she says she has had the flu, but thinks she is over it. I run the class with love and joy, then the next day of class she turns up wearing a mask. We ask her why. She announces that although she has been vaccinated for this winters virus (2018), she is feeling unwell, has a sore throat, and a cough for a time. Her lungs feel compromised.

I had to make a call whether to run this class, or not. I decided to go forward as I was feeling well, as were the other participants, all who attended my Women's Wellness Workshop. This student promised to wear her mask throughout the class.

The evening after I taught the class, I suddenly felt an attack on my head! I immediately went to lie down trying to give myself Reiki. It wasn't working too well, so I called on my partner to facilitate Reiki, which he did. In two to three hours I had a high fever, and was quite ill. I had no appetite, fatigue, and had difficulty breathing. I was bedridden for three days with a high fever, and as I am not one to run to see a medical doctor or head for emergency, I toughed it out, as I usually do if I catch something.

Vernal Equinox arrives, I have a cough and compromised lungs and great fatigue, although I have been a healthy woman, not been on any medications, nor had former health issues of any kind. I call the Reiki class participants, no one else got the flu like I did.

Life resumes slowly but I cannot hike the mountains nearby as my lungs are still compromised during the month of April, and I am not feeling my usual high energy.

Mid April I felt I needed help, so I booked an Ortho-bionomy treatment. As I know my body well, I could feel and see how "weak" I was as I lay on the facilitators table. Fear comes up, am I dying? I have just celebrated my 70th birthday.

I continue to make sure I am eating healthily and taking my vitamins E, C and D, and then it is the May 15 New Moon gathering in my home. It is the Spirit Grandmother Bear Clan moon, although I am still not over my breathing difficulty I open my home to the gathering I facilitate.

During our gathering, whilst in meditation I see part of her, this Spirit Grandmother. She shows herself as a large bear arm with great claws, and I am soon feeling a pronounced "prickling" on top of my head from her claws. It's a new to me sensation, but I simply allow it, thinking, let us see where this is going!

It was then that I became a large plant! And soon thereafter the top of my head sprouted a flower, a thistle flower, a yellow thistle flower, that later this evening I discovered was the Blessed Thistle plant flower, and that it was supporting the lungs, immune system, respiratory infections, fatigue, was a germicidal and antibiotic.

The next day I dashed off to my local health food store and purchased most of their dried Blessed Thistle, brought it home and immediately made a tincture from most of it, keeping some for an immediate tea to drink as I generally allow my herbal tinctures 4 weeks to macerate. Within 24 hours of drinking Blessed Thistle herb tea, I could feel the affects and that it was clearing all the remaining symptoms of the flu I'd had.

I decided to take the tincture after three days though, and in less than a week I was feeling 100% better! According to my intuition, this Blessed Thistle herb cured me of the Covid-19 virus that had impacted me so severely two months previously.

As I recall and write this post May 6, 2020, I researched what Covid 19 sounds and look like. It seems identical in all ways as to the virus I became attached to in March of 2018. I highly recommend giving Blessed Thistle herb a go, if you get the symptoms of Covid 19.
