This clear alcoholic drink is easily infused with the flavor of flowers, herbs, fruits, and even vegetables. Try combinations such as the light and sweet floral taste of lavender and rosemary. Lavender brings calming and healing and rosemary dispels negative spirits. Both of these are loveherbs. What could be better? You’ll need the following:
Here’s a recipe to create exactly the right mood for romance. The verse at the end references the Garden of Eden before the fall. Gather the following:
1 ounce dried hibiscus flowers
1 ounce dried and pulverized rose hips
1⁄2 ounce dried lemon balm
1⁄2 ounce dried mint (ideally peppermint)
1⁄2 ounce dried meadowsweet
Stir ingredients together in a clockwise motion. Store in a dark, lidded jar.
To make tea, add two teaspoons of herbs for each cup of boiled water. Steep for five minutes while visualizing your heart’s desire, and before straining, say aloud:
Herbal brew of love's emotion,
with my wish I fortify.
When two people share this potion
their love shall intensify as in the Olde Garden of Love.
Jasmine tea is one of the most delightful concoctions, and it can create an aura of bliss and conviviality. This tea is commonly found in most grocery stores, but organic and whole food shops always offer superior quality. Brew a cup of jasmine tea and let it cool. Add two parts lemonade and drink the mixture with a close friend on a Friday, Venus’s day, which rules our relationships. Jasmine is a vine, which traditionally represented the intertwining of people. Sharing this tea with a friend will enhance your bond.
This tea is also a tonic that you can indulge in alone. I recommend brewing a batch every Monday, or moon day, to ensure that each week will be filled with joy. As the tea steeps, pray:
On this day in this new week, I call upon the spirit to guide joy to my door.
Such gladness as I receive, so shall I give.
By this moon on this day, I call upon Ishtar and Celene, ladies fair,
to show me the best way to live. For this, I am grateful.
