Sealed in Friendship: Soul Mate Spell

If you are fortunate enough to have a soul mate, here is a special bit of sorcery to seal your fate together.

Take a white candle for purity, a red candle for deep affection, and two long-stemmed roses complete with thorns. Light the candles and hand each other a rose. Anoint the candles with honey to seal your bond with sweetness and rose essential oil for the sweet connection of friendship. Witchcraft was originally nurtured by groups of friends passing on herbal remedies and working spells together in covens.

Finding the Sacred in Sensuality: Your Erotic Altar

To prepare for new relationships and deepen the expression of feeling and intensity in your love life, create a center from which to renew your romantic spirit. Here you can concentrate your energy, clarify your intentions, and make wishes come true. If you already have an altar, incorporate some special elements, such as red candles or red crystals, or anything associated with Venus, like copper or a seashell, to enhance your sex life. Your altar can sit on a low table, a big box, or any flat surface dedicated to magic. One friend of mine has her sex altar at the head of her bed. Begin by purifying the space with some smoke cleansing. Then cover your altar with a large red silk or silk-like fabric. Place two red candles at the center of your altar, and then place a soul mate crystal—two crystals naturally fused together—at the far-right corner of the altar. These are widely available at metaphysical stores. Anoint your candles with jasmine and neroli oil. Also keep the incense you think is sexiest on your altar. Place fresh Casablanca lilies in a vase, and change them the minute they begin to fade. Lilies are heralded as exotic and erotic flowers, prized for their seductive scent.

SOUL MATE or TWIN SOUL - Promote Loving Contact and Togetherness

This week we're going to talk about Soul Mate or Twin Soul crystals. Let me start with the caveat that just as there are differing opinions on the description of a human soul mate/twin soul, there is also a lot of controversy about what constitutes a Soul Mate or Twin Soul crystal. These twinned crystals are sometimes also referred to as Tantric Twins or Twin Flames. My tendency is to keep naming as uncomplicated as possible, so I choose not to use the names Tantric Twin or Twin Flame and simplify it to just "Twin Soul" or even just "Twin".

As usual, what I am presenting here is my take on the subject of twinned crystals, you may have learned differently, or the people or books from which you learned may have assigned subtle differences and complex rules to the names, or you  simply may have a different opinion on the matter entirely for other reasons, and that is perfectly okay! What is important is the energy which these twinned crystals present and your personal relationship to the type of crystal named as such. Again, it is my desire to make learning about the Crystal People as uncomplicated as possible to make this sometimes convoluted topic less burdensome and more accessible to everyone. Back to topic, then!

The Other Half - Fairy Lights Tarot

It is said that each of us have someone in the world that is just for us, even if we don't want them. Some call them soul mates, some call them twin flames others call them a pain in the ass. Like it or not there is an energy out there that is your matching pair. Lucia Mattioli takes this idea to a whole new level with her deck Fairy Lights Tarot. In this deck each of the cards have a matching pair or another half floating around somewhere in the vortex of the deck. Not only does this fascinate me from a deck creator stand point, but it also totally switches things up from a reading stand point.

Before I bought this deck I knew about this fascinating plot twist within the story of the Fairy Lights Tarot. In essence it was the reason I bought the deck. I had to see it for myself. I wanted to put the pieces together and put them together I did. Although this was harder then I thought it would be, finding all the pairs didn't take me as long as I thought it would. And you can bet your bottom dollar once I did reunite the couples in the deck I took a photo of them. I did this for one reason and one reason only, I wanted a quick reference guide to the matching energy for reading purposes.
