This week we’ll be discussing Elestial crystals which is a crystal type that falls into the category of crystals' overall shape, such as Curved. This means we aren't counting edges of faces, looking at surface features or otherwise looking at PARTS of a crystal, but we are looking at the overall shape of the crystal.
Elestial crystals are described as crystals which "have natural terminations over the body and face of an etched and/or layered crystal". So, what does that mean? Simply, that they really aren't in the shape of a traditional point. They are layered all over with self-healed looking surfaces.
Traditionally, when you mention Elestial crystals, they are smoky. However I have found that not all crystals which fit in the Elestial category are Smoky. If you do a Google image search for Elestial crystals, you will see many smoky crystals, lots that look like Cathedral or Lightbraries, and there will also be some clear (non-smoky) points. As an aside, most all Cathedral crystals are Elestial, but not all Elestial are Cathedrals.
To help you understand what we are looking at, I have drawn pink lines on the part of the crystal that lets you know it is Elestial or Elestiated (partial point/partial Elestial, see below). Sometimes points are what I call “Elestiated.” To me that means it is a point that isn't quite all point, and isn't quite all Elestial, but is sort of a combination of the two, like this one:

Elestial crystals have a soft, loving energy. They usually feel angelic to me. I work with them when I want to connect to an angelic energy all around me. Their energy is less focused, more amorphous (having no definite form, without shape).
Today we've learned that:
- Elestial crystals are crystals which have natural terminations over the body and face of an etched and/or layered crystal.
- Crystals may be part point and part Elestial, called Elestiated.
- They have an angelic, less focused, amorphous energy.
- Elestial crystals are good to work with to connect with angelic energy.
