As we continue building the Goddess Samona's Shrine... We got the concrete poured right after Fall Equinox.

Pouring concrete into foundation

Kirk placed offerings into the foundation - beer, dark chocolate, holy waters from the UK and Eire, & waters from the source of the White Salmon River, thus linking the origin of our thinking about local goddesses with the far off UK and Ireland to here.

All the concrete is complete.

Next came bricks and rebar.

First layer of bricks

After several weeks of work, and many more layers of brick, Trout Lake had its first frost of the season.

As of the last week of October, the walls are complete for the winter.

The “holey” stone in the upper left is for peering through and seeing the mountain.  It is reminiscent of the idea of seeing through something into the Otherworlds.
