Ariadne's Tribe: Minoan Spirituality for the Modern World

Walk the sacred labyrinth with Ariadne, the Minotaur, the Great Mothers, Dionysus, and the rest of the Minoan family of deities. Ariadne's Tribe is an independent spiritual tradition that brings the deities of the ancient Minoans alive in the modern world. We're a revivalist tradition, not a reconstructionist one. We rely heavily on shared gnosis and the practical realities of Paganism in the modern world. Ariadne's thread reaches across the millennia to connect us with the divine. Will you follow where it leads?

Find out all about Ariadne's Tribe at ariadnestribe.com. We're an inclusive, welcoming tradition, open to all who share our love for the Minoan deities and respect for our fellow human beings.

Ariadne's Thread second edition now available!

I'm delighted to share with you that the newly revised and expanded second edition of Ariadne's Thread is now available!

The first edition, published 10 years ago (wow, has it really been that long?) was the inspiration for the creation of the Facebook group that evolved into the beautiful community that is Ariadne's Tribe.

Over the course of that decade, the archaeological work has continued, and the Ariadne's Tribe spiritual tradition has grown to the point that I had to rewrite large portions of the book.

We've learned a whole lot more about the Minoans, from their daily lives to their religious practice in the temples, towns, caves, and peak sanctuaries.

We've developed our own unique spiritual format that's based in the kinds of Bronze Age religious practices the Minoans probably took part in.

We've compiled a sacred calendar full of inspirational festivals throughout the year - far more than the four seasonal rituals I wrote for the first book.

And I've expanded the rites of passage to include a nonbinary / non-gendered coming-of-age ceremony, a house blessing, and more.

In all, the second edition is almost twice as long as the first. It was a labor of love, and I'm thrilled that I can share it with you now.

I even made a video trailer for it, just for fun.

May Ariadne's thread lead you to beauty and joy!
