This is the perfect spell of enchantment to use when you have met a “special someone” and you wish to enhance your personal charm and magnetism. With this invocation, you are sure to attract your heart’s desire! You will need the following supplies:
1 red candle
1 pink candle
Essential oil (jasmine and rose have very powerful love vibrations to attract and charm a lover)
To help heal yourself or a brokenhearted friend, add five drops of each of the following essential oils to a scentless base oil or almond oil:
Wisteria
Clove
Jojoba
Neroli
Shake and add a few small rose quartz crystals into the vial. Offer to give your heartbroken friend a neck and head rub. Dab the oil on his or her temples, neck, and shoulders, and gently rub in circular motions.
An altar is a place of power—your personal power—where you can make magic. It should be an expression of your deepest self, filled with artifacts that hold personal resonance. Allow your altar to be a work in progress that changes with the seasons and reflects your inner cycles.
To create your altar, find a small table and drape it in richly colored, luxurious fabrics—perhaps red satin or a burgundy velvet scarf. Take one red and one pink candle and arrange them around a sweet-smelling incense such as amber, rose, or jasmine. Decorate your altar with tokens that represent love to you: a heart-shaped chunk of ruby glass, potpourri made with rose and amethyst, a photo of your lover. Fridays are the time for spelling love, right before dawn. Before you light your candles, anoint them with a love oil you select from the following pages.
The Goddess of Love, Venus, rules this most popular day of the week, Friday. Small wonder this is the night for a tryst. To prepare yourself for a night of lovemaking, you should take a Goddess bath with the following potion in a special cup or bowl. I call mine the Venus Vial. Combine:
One cup sesame oil
Six drops orange blossom oil
Four drops gardenia oil
Stir with your fingers six times, silently repeating three times:
Weekly Goddess Inspiration has been on a bit of an...extended hiatus...as the Priestess here has navigated some life changes. But we're back and ready to be inspired by the Feminine Divine in all Her beautiful forms. If you're new to this blog, Weekly Goddess Inspiration is a time when I pull a card from one of my many Goddess oracle decks to see what the energy for the week will be. This week, I'm pulling from The Goddess Inspiration Oracle by Kris Waldherr, which is one of my favorite decks to work with.
