In Wiccan Feng Shui, How to Arrange a Magical Life, Alexandria has written a useful, highly readable book. She has interwoven Wiccan practices and tools with the traditional Feng Shui system in an interesting manner, creating a helpful combination of the two disciplines specifically designed for practitioners of Wicca.
Alexandria presupposes that the reader is already knowledgeable about Wicca and Wiccan practices. She begins by giving a clear explanation of the traditional Eastern Feng Shui system and goals, then adapts them to Western Wicca. She also incorporates the Tarot as well as her own Star Runes into this well-defined system for creating and maintaining harmony and smooth function in our homes and home offices.
Feng Shui and Wicca, both of which are earth-centered and based on the elements, have much in common. Yet there are important differences. Alexandria goes from the general to the specific, gently leading the reader into a better understanding of how to apply Feng Shui principles to a magical home. She suggests helpful rituals, magical and mundane tools, and gives some very practical ideas for enhancing the energy in our homes.
Down to earth and simple, these are easy to carry out. She provides solutions to many potential problems and resolves difficulties without complication. One section goes through the home room by room, listing ways to enhance the energy or keep the Chi moving nicely through each one.
Profusely illustrated with helpful diagrams, Wiccan Feng Shui is light hearted and filled with good examples of how to help yourself to a happier, more comfortable, better functioning home. This book is for anyone who feels they are stuck or who would like to create positive change in their home life or their home. It is clear and well written. The quick reference guides at the end are an added benefit.
