PaganNewsBeagle Fiery Tuesday March 24

Lots of stories to get fired up about in today's PaganNewsBeagle: Canadian Paganism, care & feeding of activists; co-housing; so-white Congress; arguing that witchcraft shouldn't try to be respectable.

Great story at the Wild Hunt by Dodie Graham MacKay on Pagan activism in Canada.

It's easy and tempting to ignore our needs when we are in the thick of activist work. John Beckett's article reminds us that the care and feeding of activists is important work, too.

Is co-housing one answer to making sustainable communities work? In Europe, this option — not a commune, but not single-family housing, either -- seems to be taking off.

Honestly, why is this (the unbearable whiteness of Congress) still a thing? (hat/tip for phrasing to John Oliver.)

Is witchcraft inherently radical? Transgressive? Anti-capitalist? Jason Thomas Pitzl makes the argument on the new website Gods & Radicals that the last half-century we Pagans spent trying to look "respectable" was either a waste of time or fundamentally misguided.
