Hedge Witch: Into the Wilds…
Let me take you on a journey through the wilds of nature and back to the roots and bones of witchcraft, a natural witchcraft that works with the seasons and all the natural items that Mother Nature provides drawing on magical folk lore with a dash of hedge witch and gypsy magic too.
Angry Egg Spell
Angry egg spell
This isn’t a spell to make eggs angry, but to release the anger and frustration we sometimes find ourselves hanging onto. Release the Kraken! Seriously, you will feel much better afterwards. Better to let it all go than allow it to fester ‘coz then things can get really messy.
You will need:
Candle for anger and frustration (black or a dark colour)
Candle for self-worth and self-esteem (pink or yellow perhaps)
Candle for inner peace and clarity (white or pale blue work well)
An egg
You can work this spell indoors but you will need access to outside, somewhere that won’t matter being covered in raw egg. If you are limited for space then it can be worked indoors but use the sink to throw the egg into.
Light the black candle and hold the egg with your fingers wrapped around the pointier end (this is the strongest point on the shell). Focus on the black candle flame and visualise all your anger and frustration flowing from you into the egg. Take as much time as you need, then throw the egg with as much force as you can muster shouting:
Anger and frustration leave me now!
Stand for a moment and allow the emotions to fade, then take some slow, deep breaths. Next make a statement out loud:
I release the anger and the pain and see the end of the frustration reign.
Extinguish the black candle.
When you are feeling calmer light the candle for self-worth and self-esteem and the candle for inner peace and clarity. Watch the flames burn together side by side and say:
May the anger now be gone
The frustration and fear at an end
Calm, peace and self-worth to mend
I trust the anger to never return
Allow the two candles to burn out.

The spell can also be done with ice cubes and a hard surface, with or without the candle. Less messy.
