The Choice is Yours
Mr. Posch,
I so wish I could take credit for it, but McConnell was given that title by Holocaust historian Christopher Browning.
The only poetic justice here is that when you google, "Gravedigger of American democracy", you only see Moscow Mitch's face.
Thanks again for referencing ROS. More Pagans should be aware of how great this show is, for all its perfectly human limitations.

Mr. Posch,
You are the man! I am a huge fan of Robin of Sherwood! I always associate ROS with the Fall season, because that's when I first saw it decades ago on American TV.
So right now, like almost every Fall, I'm watching a bunch of episodes. Nothing is forgotten...nothing is ever forgotten. Best. Robin Hood. Ever.
The juxtaposition of Herne's Son with the "Gravedigger of American democracy", is totally appropriate. Mitch McConnell isn't a fun-to-watch TV villain, like Nickolas Grace as the Sherriff of Nottingham.
Mitch McConnell a real-life villain, scarier in his own way than an evil clown from a Stephen King novel.
